I’ve stayed at the Cosmopolitan six times in total. It’s a hip high-end hotel and a firm favourite if I can get it in a holiday deal.
I first chose the Cosmopolitan after previously staying at The Bellagio and Planet Hollywood. I was looking for something with the luxury of The Bellagio and the younger hipper vibe of Planet Hollywood. The Cosmo fits that bill!
Highlights of the hotel are the centrally located the Chandelier bar, the Wicked Spoon buffet and the not-so-secret Secret pizza.
The Cosmo was one of the first hotels on the strip to offer balconies. Rooms range from comfortable ‘city’ rooms to wast corner balcony suites. The best rooms I have stayed are the Terrace one bedroom suites. These have a separate lounge and bedroom, with a balcony off the bedroom and bathroom with a Japanese soaking tub with window views. You either get a view of the southern strip, or the more premium view of the Bellagio fountains.

The location is in the centre of the strip, so you are ideally situated for easy access to many of the main hotels in that part of the strip. On one side you have The Bellagio, and can get rooms with great views of the lake and fountains, and on the other you have Crystals shops leading to The Aria hotel. Opposite is Planet Hollywood with the Miracle Mile shops, with Paris, Bally’s and Caesars Palace not too far away.
