Starbucks

If, like me, you need your morning coffee fix, you aren’t going to need to go far to find a Starbucks in Vegas.

Starbucks seems to have taken hold over the last 10 years and is the only major coffee chain you are going to come across in Vegas. I assume this is due to it’s international recognition and appeal.

I’ve gone on runs down the strip and have counted the number Starbucks into double figures over the course of a fairly short section!

Most hotels have at least one Starbucks as part of it’s food and drink offering, and they are in malls, shopping areas and in between hotels on the strip. There are other coffee shops around, but these are few and far between in the hotels.

As you might expect the menu is pretty standard, but you will also finds quite a lot of Vegas themed mugs, bottles and souvenirs in every branch too.

The prices are inflated, this is the strip remember, so expect to pay around $6-7 for a medium hot drink (they even charge an extra $1 for soya milk).

Of all the branches one of my favourites is the one outside the New York – New York Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. There are entrances both on the strip and inside the casino. There’s outdoor seating on the strip, so you can people watch as you sip right in front of the Brooklyn Bridge!
