If you’ve got a craving for a margarita and some hearty Mexican food you’ll find Yölos Mexican Grill will fulfil your needs. It’s conveniently located in Planet Hollywood, right at the front of the casino.

I love a Mexican where you have your guacamole freshly prepared at the table, so that’s a big tick here. The restaurant is also located right on the casino floor, so that’s another tick for me.

Portions are large and alongside the guacamole you’ll get a mountain of warm tortilla chips, so remember to save room for a main!

It’s casual dining and I’ve rarely seen it full. So no need to book, just drop in. There’s a bar upfront so you can just have a drink or choose to dine there if you prefer. The main restaurant is bright and modern. I suggest asking for a booth or a table out front with a casino view, perfect for people watching.

Once seated you’ll be treated to an illuminated drinks menu, where you’ll find over 60 tequilas, beers, wines and cocktails. My recomendation is to go for an over-the-top ‘Margarona‘. That’s basically a signature margarita served with a small bottle of Corona beer (a Corinita) turned upside down in it. Two drinks in one, which switches from a margarita to a beer as you sip!

The food is very standard Mexican fare including enchiladas, burritos and fajitas.

Since the portions are large, you might prefer to share a main. The fajita’s are great for sharing, just ask for extra tortilla wraps, you get plenty to fill them for two people.

Vegetarians are well catered for, you can get veggie versions of most of the main dishes. My recommendation would be the veggie fajitas or the chile relleno.

I’ve never had room for a desert, so just order another margarita or a tequila to wash things down!
