The Forum Shops

The Forum Shops is the main shopping mall connected to Caesars Palace. You can enter by the newer entrance fron the strip (right opposite Harrahs Las Vegas) or from within the Caesars Palace casino itself. It’s a mix of around 145 shops and 15 restaurants.

The grander entrance is the one from the Strip. This takes you up two levels on some spectacular spiral escalators. You do, however, get taken on a long winding path, past most of the shops before decending down two straight escalators to the end main mall. The simpler way in is via the casino, which brings you right into the centre of the mall.

The shops have become more high end over the years, for example there are large Versace, Gucci, Dior and Louis Vuitton stores. Highlights for me are the Apple Store (one of three located near to the Vegas Strip), H&M (the world’s largest H&M store) and the large Vegas souvenier shop at the far end. It also boosts the US’s largest watch shop, Tourneau.

Previously I would have gone to Abercrombie & Fitch, Bath and Body Works and FAO Schwarz, which have long since gone from the mall.

In terms of restauants, highlights are The Cheesecake Factory, Camine’s (one of the largest restuarants on the strip) and Planet Hollywood (which has been there since the mall opened).
