Blondies

Looking for somewhere to watch footy while you are in Vegas? Blondies is my favourite bar where you can guarantee that they will be showing any Premier League matches they can. You’ll find other places showing games when they are on US TV, but it’s a bit hit and miss. The sports books in every hotel definitely focus on US sports and it can be difficult to persuade they to switch a screen to the footy!

However, Blondies definitely aims to cater for the Brits in Vegas looking to watch English football. They have lots of screens around the bar, including a giant on at the far end. They’ll have the sound on for some games and show multiple matches if they are on at the same time. You’ll definitely find some fellow fans in there.

It’s worth passing by and checking that they will have the match you want to watch. The waitresses at the front desk have a full list of all the sports events they will be showing.

You’ll find Blondies in the Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood. Follow the shopping mall right around to the back, and you’ll find it opposite the V Theater.

Blondies is a typical American sports bar and you’ll be greeted and found a table by the staff at the door. Look-out for the match you want and be prepared to ask for a table near the screen you need Also if you sit in the main part of the bar, you’ll get a good view of lots of screens.

Of course Premier League games might mean an early start to your day, with a 3pm UK kick-off being 7am in Vegas! Luckily Blondies opens early and there’s nothing like a decent breakfast and a Bloody Mary to start the day! Or you can stick to the coffee…

The breakfast menu is a lot smaller than it used to be, but there’s still plenty on there is to satisfy most tastes. Portions are generous, but not over the top. The food is good and all tastes freshly cooked. The prices are on the high-side but still worth it for the opportunity to watch a match over breakfast.
