Welcome to Viva LON Vegas, a site about visiting Las Vegas.
I’m a Vegas fan, living in London, who’s visited Vegas over 30 times, with my first visit in 2001. You can see a full list of my visits on my trip list.
I like to share my experiences on YouTube, Instagram and write about places to visit on this site. I aim to provide tips and advice for anyone thinking about visiting Vegas.
On Instagram I post photos and tips, especially when I’m there, but I also dig into my photo archive and post between trips. And I started filming my trips for YouTube in 2025, so head there to watch those.
This site
I started this site to share my personal experiences of my travels from London to Las Vegas. The aim is to provide some useful tips for anyone planning a trip, and hopefully provide an insight into how to get the most from that visit.
The site came about due to the many requests from friends who have asked me for tips and advise on what to expect on a visit to Vegas. I started pulling together the information in 2008 when I arranged a group holiday with friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday.
Then, ten years later, I created this site to enable me to share those experiences, with regular updates from all my visits.
I post to the site in a blog style with each short post providing a description, links and tips about Attractions, Hotels, Food & drink, Shopping, Transport, out of town Trips and many more aspects of a trip to Vegas.
I add new posts and update existing posts each time I return from Vegas with new places and updates to previous posts. Each post has a Last visit date, so you know how up to date the information is.
I’m vegetarian, so I’ll provide food suggestions for veggies but don’t worry I travel with meat eaters so my recommendations are always suitable for all tastes.
I hope you find the site useful. I’m always open to suggestions, comments and feedback on the site, or about your own trip, so don’t hesitate to contact me.
If you are ready to get started on planning a Vegas trip, I suggest heading to the Basics page and starting there.
