Having walked through the Paris casino floor many times on previous visits, I, at last, used this property as a base for a trip and stayed there in February 2024.
So firstly, location. This really feels like you are right in the centre strip, with many of the other resorts were in easy reach. From your neighbours of the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood, to the quick trip across the road to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and the Bellagio. Many places feel in easy reach.
I upgraded from the standard Bordeaux room to a Bordeaux Corner King room. The main advantage of this room was dual aspect windows, so you get two views.
The room was spacious, as you would expect. The corner room had additional space, with a small dressing area in addition to a bathroom with both a tub and a shower. There’s a desk, an armchair and a large TV. There’s also a fridge for you to use for your own stuff.
The rooms are also a little tired, with a bit of chipped paint and a few scrapes on the walls. But overall comfortable, with everything you need.
For the extra money I would say that it wasn’t really worth the upgrade to the corner room. I was on the 14 floor, but the views weren’t the best, you really need a higher floor to get decent views on the strip.

In terms of the Paris hotel as a whole, I have to say I’m not a fan of the casino area. Once you get over the novelty of three legs of the Eiffel Tower being in the casino, it does all feel quite cramped. For some reason I also never did well on the slots here and the drinks service was slow. I tended to head through to the connected Horseshoe Las Vegas and spend my money in the casino there, which I much preferred.
There are, of course, plenty of restaurants available. From the always busy, 24 hour, Café Americano to Gordon Ramsey’s Steak, there’s plenty of choice of offer. A particular favourite was Vanderpump À Paris, for delicious (if a little pricey) cocktails.
You also have two of the best restaurants with terraces right on the strip, at the front of Paris, Alexxa’s and Mon Abi Gabi. They are particularly good for breakfast and it’s great having them within easy reach. There’s nothing like sitting outside in the sun watching the world go by on the strip, and the fountain shows at the Bellagio across the road.
Overall the location is great, with plenty of places to go in the hotel and the nearby surroundings. I would say the rooms are okay, but nothing particularly special. Personally, I would probably save a bit of money and stay at the Horseshoe Las Vegas, which is connected to Paris. There you get the location, the better casino and newer rooms for less money.
