Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi was one of the first restuarants to have a terrace right on the strip. It’s also right across the road from the Bellagio hotel, so you get great views of the fountain show.

It’s located at the front of the Paris Las Vegas hotel, and models itself on a modern french bistro. the food is good, if maybe a little over priced, and it does have a very classic french feel to it.

I’ve only ever visted for breakfast or lunch and always got a table on the terrace. There is an inside conservatory and fully inside tables, but it’s the strip view you are going for.

It takes walk-ups, but there is usually a wait for a terrace table. The front desk staff will take your mobile number and you get a text when your table is ready, so as long as you keep close by you can have a wander in the Paris casino while you wait.

Breakfast

My last visit was in February 2024, whilst staying at Paris Las Vegas. So I had to go there for breakfast for at least one morning while I was there.

I went for the spinach and goat cheese omelette, which was very nice. It comes with green beans rather than potatoes, so it a bit of a lighter option than most omelettes you’ll find on other breakfast menus.

Overall, Mon Ami Gabi is a lovely location to have breakfast, or another meal for that matter, however there is now a lot more choice of restaurants is a similar location with good strip view terraces. While on my trip staying at Paris, I did prefer breakfasting at Alexxa’s, also on the front of the Paris hotel. This has a younger, funkier vibe and large terrace area, so you still get the views. I was also able to get seated quicker, as there is alot less waiting time at Alexxa’s.
