Pinkbox Doughnuts are a fairly new Vegas institution. Serving Instagram-worthy doughnuts from 11 locations in Nevada and Utah. I first noticed them when they opened their Downtown store right at the front of the Plaza hotel.
Their garish pink branding was a controversial addition to the Plaza, but this is Vegas and somehow it just fits in. And there’s plenty of photo opportunities too.
Their doughnuts are delicious and varied, with over 50 options including several vegan ones.
Made fresh daily, there are so many shapes, sizes and flavour options to choose from. My go-to is the Chocolate Butter Cup. Basically a Reeses peanut butter cup in doughnut form. It’s filled with peanut butter and chocolate cream, and covered in chocolate icing and chocolate chips.
So if you are downtown and need a doughnut fix, you can do no worse than pop-in and give them a try. And then you can see if they live up to their own catchphrase line, ‘SO GOOD you’ll lick the box.’.
