The Chocolate Bar is a small, unassuming, bar in New York New York. It’s the sort of bar that you would pass without giving it a thought. However, through watching Vegas YouTube vlogs, I discovered this gem. It’s now become a firm favourite, must visit, bar.
It’s located just outside of Hersey’s Chocolate World, right by the casino floor at the front of the hotel. There are only about eight seats at the bar, so you may have to hang around to get one. Although you can get a takeaway, it’s just not the same, so wait for a seat.
There are five chocolate martini’s to choose from based around Hershey’s-branded chocolate bars. Each gets a chocolate-sugar rim and a garnish of a mini-chocolate on a stick.
They also do other non-chocolate cocktails, martini’s made with Jolly Rancher-infused vodkas and a few beers. But is the sweet martinis you are here for. My favourite is the Reese’s peanut butter cup martini, made with peanut butter whisky called Skrewball.
Definitely worth a try for the novelty value, but beware they are all mostly alcohol, so be prepared!!
